Pak government writes letter to Britain regarding extradition of Nawaz Sharif

Muhammad Nafees Zakaria, Pakistan’s High Commissioner to the UK has written a letter to the British government regarding the extradition of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to Pakistan.

While addressing a press conference in Lahore on Saturday, advisor to Prime Minister Imran Khan on Home Affairs, Shehzad Akbar,  confirmed that the government of Pakistan has initiated necessary legal action for the extradition of Nawaz Sharif.

According to Akber, the letter regarding Nawaz Sharif’s extradition was written on March 2 of this year.

However, the advisor to PM Khan did not mention whether the British Government has responded to the letter or not.

It is pertinent to mention here that the Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid Ahmed, told the media that Nawaz Sharif’s return is a difficult task.
