Pakistan Coronavirus Active Cases Toll falls below 12000 mark

Pakistan is witnessing a speedy recovering among coronavirus patients as the active cases toll fall below 12,000 after more patients recovered.

According to the Government’s COVID-19 portal, 513 new infections and eight fatalities were reported across the country over the last 24 hours.

Furthermore, 6,209 people have died from complications related to the contagion with the addition of fatalities reported over the previous 24 hours.

23,670 tests were conducted during this period, taking the number of tests conducted across the country thus far to more than 2.3 million.

The number of active coronavirus cases stands at 11,945.

Till now 127,060 cases have been detected in Sindh,

95,800 in Punjab,

35,468 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,

12,403 in Balochistan,

15,425 in Islamabad,

2,219 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and

2,583 in Gilgit Baltistan.
