Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that a new city is going to be built along with Lahore which will also revive Ravi.

According to details, Prime Minister Imran Khan planted a tree during the tree planting campaign in the federal capital Islamabad.

On the occasion, Prime Minister Imran Khan while addressing a function on tree planting campaign said that he congratulated the Tigers Force for planting 3.5 million trees in one day.

The Prime Minister said that Pakistan ranks 8th among the countries affected by climate change. Allah has given us the strength to deal with climate change.

Imran Khan also said that Pakistan has been hit hard by extreme heat, climate change has caused a shortage of 1.5 million tonnes of wheat while the heat has increased, the glaciers continue to melt, the result will be desert areas.

The Prime Minister said that the removal of trees and forests has caused severe damage to the country, we all have a responsibility to get Pakistan out of trouble and make Pakistan green.

Imran Khan also said that this war will last a long time but thankfully we have chosen this path, we should not leave any place in the cities where there are no trees.

In his statement, Imran Khan said that the river Ravi has become a dirty canal as soon as he sees it. Ravi has dirt in winter so he is going to build a new city with Lahore which will also revive the Ravi.

PM Imran Khan further said that besides planting trees, we also have to clean our rivers, planting trees will also reduce pollution.
