SC to hear cases related to encroachments in Karachi from August 10

The Supreme Court Karachi Registry will hear cases related to encroachments in Karachi from August 10.

According to the details,  a three-member bench headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Gulzar Ahmed will hear important cases in Karachi from August 10.

The Apex court has sought a report on the elimination of encroachments from YMCA Marriage Lawn, Aurangzeb Market, Taj Mahal Market, located on MA Jinnah Road, encroachments on Haji Lemo Goth Nullah in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, construction of Aziz Bhatti Park Officers Club, Sunday Bazar on the banks of Malir River, and also the conversion of residential plot in Clifton Block 4.

Furthermore, Cases related to the construction of parks and playgrounds on vacant government plots in Karachi, encroachments on roads of North Karachi, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, construction of housing society on railway land, 110 different petitions related to ten encroachments, have been fixed for hearing.
