Sindh reported 172 new corona virus cases and 6 deaths over the last 24 hours resulting in the number of infections in the province to 128,456 and fatalities to 2,373.

As many as 7,426 test were conducted during this period, out of which 172 turned out to be positive and 266 patients recuperated stated Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah.

According to the issued report, 76 of the 172 cases were reported from the city of Karachi where as other cases came from various other parts Sindh.

C.M Shah further added that 122,181 Covid-19 patients had recovered across the province while 3,902 patients were under treatment out of which 37 were in critical condition.

23,655 samples were tested for Covid-19 reported during this period by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) resulting in the emergence of 496 new cases. As the peak of the virus continues to flatten out, the total number of cases in the country has come down to 10,188.
