2.5 million families affected in Sindh due to torrential rains

Spokesperson Sindh government Senator Murtaza Wahab has said that at least 2.5 million families affected due flooding after torrential rains in the province.

Addressing a press conference in Karachi, Senator Murtaza Wahab said Relief operations are underway in rain-affected areas.

He said PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto himself is visiting the affected areas. 20 districts have been declared as disaster areas. While quoting PP Chairman, Senator Murtaza Wahab said that the Sindh government will complete Rs 802 billion projects in 5 years.

We made it clear from the budget of the Karachi Transformation plan announced by Prime Minister Imran Khan, out of 1100 billion, 802 billion is ours. The federal ministers held a press conference on Tuesday when the budget was criticized.

The federal ministers said that out of Rs 1,100 billion, 62 percent belong to the federation.
