The two men accused in the rape and murder case of five-year-old Marwah, confessed to their crime on Tuesday.

According to the details, police presented an investigation report before an anti-terrorism court on Tuesday which stated that both the accused namely Faiz alias Faiz and Abdullah have confessed to their crime of raping and killing of Marwah. An anti-terrorism court had granted physical remand of two suspects until September 26.

According to the details of the report submitted in the court, Faiz was living near Marwah’s house who abducted her and took the minor girl to his house. Later, he and Abdullah raped the minor girl.

In his confessional statement, Faiz accepted that the minor was raped till death, and later her body was wrapped in a piece of cloth and was thrown at a trash heap in the area.

The court had directed the investigation officer to present them on the next hearing.

The Incident:

According to sources, the poor girl, identified as Marwah, was kidnapped from near her home. She had been missing since then until her body was discovered near her house in Essa Nagri.

She was immediately rushed to the hospital, where the autopsy reports confirmed that the poor girl was raped, and received a blunt force trauma to the head; before being thrown in the garbage.
