Committee formed to probe attack on Talal Chaudhry

 Faislabad Police has said that a committee has been set up to investigate the incident about the attack on former PML-N MNA Talal Chaudhry.

According to the details, police said that the four-member committee will record statements of both Chaudry and a woman who is said to be involved in the incident.

The committee was directed to submit an inquiry report within three days.

Former state minister and  PML-N politician, Talal Chaudhry, was allegedly attacked by unidentified people in Faisalabad on the night of Sept 23 and is currently being treated at a hospital in Lahore.

Ex MNA  had called police helpline 15 and reported a robbery in Abdullah Garden, Faisalabad. A few minutes later, PML-N MNA Ayesha Rajab Ali informed police that there were three suspicious men were present outside her house in Abdullah Garden in a white car.

Family sources said that Talal Chaudhry was on his way to Madina Town from his home when unidentified persons stopped his vehicle and tortured him.

The PML-N leader suffered a left shoulder injury and severe injuries to other parts of his body.
