On Friday, the National Assembly Speaker, Asad Qaiser, met with Prime Minister Imran Khan.

During the meeting, PM Khan and Qaiser discussed the legislation in the National Assembly and various measures under consideration for the protection of public welfare and public interests.

In a meeting with Asad Qaiser, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the legislature has the most important role in protecting and providing the rights of the people under the constitution and law.

Imran Khan also said that members of the government will continue to play a full role in any reforms or amendments required to the existing laws.

PM added that he wanted to take other parliamentary parties along in the legislative process in the public interest.
