Leaders across the political spectrum on Sunday condoled the demise of famed religious scholar Allama Dr. Syed Zameer Akhtar Naqvi who passed away at the age of 76 here in Karachi.

According to the details, from the political leadership, Sindh Governor Imran Ismail expressed sadness over the popular scholar’s demise, his spokesperson said, adding that he prayed Dr. Naqvi’s forgiveness and elevation of ranks.

“May God grant patience to his bereaved family,” Ismail said, as per his spokesperson.

Provincial Minister for Women’s Development Syed Shehla Reza extended her condolences on the death of Dr. Syed Zameer Akhtar Naqvi.

In her statement, she said the valuable services rendered by Allama Syed Zameer Akhtar Naqvi will always be remembered.

In his message, Convener Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Pakistan Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said the religious services of the deceased scholar will be remembered.

The funeral prayers of famed religious scholar Allama Zameer Akhtar Naqvi will be offered today after Magrib at Ancholi Imambargah in Karachi.

The renowned scholar will be laid to rest at Wadi-e-Hussain graveyard.

Friends, family, and loved ones of the deceased scholar are deeply saddened. Dr. Naqvi was born in the Indian city of Lucknow on March 24, 1944.

Social media mourned the death of the famed religious scholar Allama Dr. Syed Zameer Akhtar Naqvi who breathed his last today due to cardiac arrest.

Soon after the news of his death hit headlines, social media expressed deep condolences.

In June this year, Allama Talib Jauhari, one of Pakistan’s most well-respected religious scholars passed away in Karachi at the age of 81.

His death was confirmed by his son Riaz Jauhari. He had been hospitalized for a while and was in the ICU. He is said to have been suffering from cardiovascular complications and had been on the ventilator. He is survived by three sons.
