OGRA raises LPG prices for September as winter approaches

The Oil Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) announced an increment in the prices of Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG)as winter approaches the country.

In August, the price of a domestic LPG cylinder was set at Rs 1,363 OGRA has issued a notification today to increase the price of LPG.

In a statement released by OGRA officials the domestic price of LPG cylinder has been increased by Rs 19 bringing the price now set at Rs.1382 per cylinder.

In a statement released by the finance ministry the government had decided that prices for petrol and other petroleum based products, that were set for August, would be the same during September.

According to the announcement the price of petrol was to remain unchanged at Rs 103.97 per liter, while high speed diesel would remain unchanged at Rs 106.46 per liter. Kerosene would remain at Rs 65.29 per liter while light diesel would remain at Rs 62.86 per liter.
