Federal Minister for Information Shibli Faraz has said Pakistan Navy has a pivotal role in the defense and security of the country.

Taking to his official twitter handle, Federal Minister for Information Shibli Faraz said Pakistan Navy remained shoulder to shoulder with Pakistan Army and the PAF in the 1965 war and wrote a new history of gallantry and professionalism.

He said on the Navy Day, we pay tributes to the protectors of the sea frontiers and the coasts.

Today on September 08, Pakistan Navy (PN) is celebrating Pak Navy Day to commemorate heroic achievements during the 1965 war.

Pak Navy Day is observed to acknowledge the sacrifices and spirit of our Naval heroes who epitomized grit, courage and valour during the 1965 War.

The day reminds us of our valiant naval heroes who despite limited resources not only annihilated Indian air aggression but also inflicted humiliating defeat on so-called mighty India.

Pakistan also recalls the heroic deeds and daring achievements of our Ghazis and martyrs who fought gallantly and humbled a much bigger adversary with their absolute faith in Allah.
