Minister for Information and Broadcasting Senator Shibli Faraz has expressed the confidence that Pakistan will come out of the FATF grey list.

Taking to his official twitter handle, Shibli Faraz said those who are dreaming to push Pakistan in the blacklist will not succeed in their nefarious designs.

Shibli Faraz said the legislation has been done in the national interest under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan to thwart the sordid designs of the enemies.

He said the opposition parties have once again resorted to negative posture contrary to the national interests.

Speaking on this matter earlier, Shibli Faraz said it would be very unfortunate for the country if the FATF laws would not get passed by the Parliament.

While commenting on the Gujjarpura Rape incident, Shibli Faraz said the incident had raised a lot of questions, and happening of such incidents continuously, without giving punishments to the culprits, was a dilemma for all of us.

He said it was difficult to overcome crimes without introducing reforms in the police department, adding bringing reforms in any institution was not an easy task.

Shibli Faraz also said the government had started the process of reforms in the Punjab police.

The minister said the previous governments had politicised the police department which protected the personal interests of the former rulers.

Expressing his view about the return of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif,  Shibli Faraz said he is not taking any medical treatment in London.

He said PML-N should show ethics and bring back its leader, adding whenever Nawaz Sharif had to face the law, his all diseases appear suddenly.
