Another flood alert has been issued by PDMA Sindh while predicting torrential rains across Sindh.

In this regard, PDMA Sindh said that in the next 24 hours, torrential rains are likely in the southern and southeastern districts of Sindh.

The PDMA has directed the Deputy Commissioners to take steps to prepare security arrangements in this regard.

Earlier this month, the PDMA had issued an alert warning of major floods in Sindh.

According to the details, Provincial Disaster Management Sindh had issued a major flood alert saying that major floodwaters are coming to Sindh after the destruction of super monsoon rains.

The PDMA wrote a letter to the DDMA and all the Deputy Commissioners, expressing concern that floodwaters would come to Sukkur and Kacha areas of Sindh.

The PDMA had said that there is a flood alert in Guddu and Sukkur in the Indus River.
