Sindh will review situation before reopening schools says Murad Ali Shah

Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah has said that the provincial government will review the situation about the reopening of the schools phase-wise in the province on September 28.

According to the details, while addressing a press conference on Thursday, Murad Ali Shah said despite the fact the number of coronavirus cases is on a downward trend, however, the threat of the pandemic still persists.

Murad Ali Shah said the province has enhanced its capacity of carrying out tests and added that 18,000 tests were conducted yesterday in Sindh to detect coronavirus.

Chief Minister said, “Children are the future of our country, and parents and teachers should ensure enforcement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to curb the spread of the virus.”

Strict Action Against Schools

Sindh education minister Saeed Ghani earlier said strict action would be taken against the educational institutions if the designed SOPs were neglected.

Saeed Ghani also said that show-cause notices would be served to the ghost teachers.
