Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Captain (R) Safdar Awan has been booked under a treason case for his remarks against state institutions.

According to the details, the case has been registered at the Satelite Town Police Station Gujranwala over the complaint of SHO.

According to the FIR, Captain (R) Safdar threatened to end the government forcefully through protest and incited hatred against the state institution.

Let it be known that  Captain retired Safdar is already facing a case of clashes outside the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) office during the appearance of Maryam Nawaz.

Lahore Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) on 30th September extended interim bail of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leaders Captain (R) Safdar and Rana Sanaullah in the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) office clash case.

According to the details, the hearing was conducted by ATC Judge Arshad Hussain Bhutta.

The investigation officer of PS Chohang presented his report in the case during the proceedings.

The report said that the accused persons were involved in hurling stones at police teams and brawl outside the NAB office during Pakistan Muslim Nawaz (PML-N)’s vice president Maryam Nawaz’s appearance.

The ATC extended interim bail of Capt (retd) Safdar and Rana Sanaullah till October 6.

NAB Office Clash

It should be noted that a clash had broken out between the PML-N activists and police on August 11th, during Maryam Nawaz’s appearance before the NAB office.
