Cellular service to remain partially suspended on Chehlum of Imam Hussain (R.A)

Mobile phone, internet, and GPRS services will remain partially suspended in Karachi on account of Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain (R.A) and other Karbala Martyrs.

According to the details, the Sindh government has announced the suspension of cellular services from 10 am till 10 pm on routes and connecting areas where Chehlum Processions will be carried out.

The Sindh home department has also imposed a one-day ban on pillion riding across the province.

Karachi Traffic Police has issued a route plan for the procession of Chehlum Imam Hussain.

According to the spokesman of the traffic police, the main procession will leave Nishtar Park at 1 pm on October 8, 20 Safar.

The main procession routes include Sir Shah Nawaz Bhutto Road, Father Jimenez Road, Mehfil Shah Khorasan, MA Jinnah Road. The main procession will pass through Mansfield Street, Saddar Dawakhana, Pareedi Street, Tibet Chowk, MA Jinnah Road.
