Karachi Blast: Sindh Government announces to pay for the treatment of Injured

The Government of Sindh has announced that it will pay for the treatment of the people who got injured in Wednesday’s blast in Karachi.

According to the details, the Sindh Government has also issued a notification in this regard.

As per the notification, the Sindh Government will pay for the treatment of the people who were injured after an explosion hit a residential building near Maskan Chowrangi in the Gulshan e Iqbal area of the city.

On the other hand, Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) has decided to demolish the building affected by the blast.

According to SBCA, six flats of the affected building are in bad condition, while two of them are completely damaged.

The blast has caused major damages to the structure of the building that is why it is necessary to demolish it.

The Sindh Building Control Authority has also informed the security agencies about the operation.

Let it be known that at least five people lost their lives and 25 others injured in the explosion.

The blast led to chaos among the people, initial reports said. The injured were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.

Police and Rangers cordoned off the area. The building is two storeys high and residential.

A part of the building collapsed after the blast. The blast also caused debris to fall on vehicles parked below. A bomb disposal squad was called to the scene.
