Even after 22 days passed to the horrific Lahore Motorway Gang rape incident, the police have failed to find out the main accused Abid Malhi.

According to the details, the main accused did not surrender himself even his many relatives among his wife and brothers under the custody of the police.

In a major development earlier, in Lahore Motorway gang-rape incident, the rape victim woman agreed to record her initial statement via telephone.

The victim of the Gujjarpura rape incident has to identify Shafqat Ali, in the identification parade and record her statement via phone under section 161.

It may be recalled that on September 9, a woman from Gujranwala was on her way to Gujranwala from Lahore with her two children in her car at around 1.30 am when her car ran out of petrol near Gujjarpura on Ring Road.

The woman was waiting for her relative meanwhile, she also called the motorway police for help but the motorway police allegedly said that no one was on emergency duty and Beat of Gujjarpura has not been allotted to anyone yet.

Woman Raped in Lahore

In a separate incident, it was reported that a young woman was allegedly gang-raped by six men in Lahore who was waiting for transport to commute at Jaranwala Road, in the limits of PS Mangatwala after the bus she was traveling in broke out.
