The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) raided the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD) in Karachi on Thursday.

As per the initial details, the NAB team is currently present inside the office of the hospital’s executive director, Nadeem Qamar.

Sources revealed that the raid is being conducted over an inquiry into employees being granted advance salaries and advance purchase of medicines

The hospital operations have been temporarily suspended.
