Pakistan has again warned the international community that India’s aggressive policies and military posture posed an immediate threat to world peace and security.

According to the details, Permanent Representative of Pakistan to the United Nations Munir Akram, while speaking in the general debate, said India had nuclearized the Indian Ocean, deployed anti-ballistic missiles, and is constantly increasing the range, sophistication, and diversification of all types of delivery systems and platforms.

He said Pakistan desires peace and strategic stability to achieve socio-economic development and its conduct continues to be defined by restraint and responsibility, and avoidance of an arms race.

The envoy said that peace and stability in South Asia are not possible without resolving the core issue of Jammu and Kashmir; without agreeing on reciprocal measures for nuclear and missile restraint; and without instituting a balance between conventional forces.

He said Pakistan’s proposal for a strategic restraint regime in South Asia, based on these inter-locking elements, remains on the table.

Earlier Pakistan while unveiling the brutal face of India for genocide in Kashmir, called for immediate removal of military siege.

In a wide-ranging interview with the Indian Media, National Security Adviser of Pakistan Moeed W. Yusuf has said that Pakistan stands for peace and we want to move forward.

“India must reverse the military siege in Kashmir and roll back the new domicile law, says Yusuf.

Moeed W. Yusuf is the first government official who appeared on Indian media after a long gap of 14 months.

Yusuf said, “Kashmiris hate Indians”. He said the constitutional changes of August 2019 are “not an internal matter”. He said they were “a matter for the UN”.
