While addressing the PDM Karachi jalsa, Fazlur Rehman told the main motive behind forming the Opposition alliance movement,

“The purpose of PDM is to restore the free democratic atmosphere. We are being forced to surrender to the government as a result of fraud.”

The JUI-F leader said that Imran Khan and his government PTI tried to scare and bribe us to withdraw the PDM movement, but we remained steadfast to our motive.

“It is not possible for us to accept this government,” said Fazl.
