PIA announces 15 percent discount on fares for Canada

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) announced on Wednesday that passengers can now fly from Pakistan to Canada with a 15 percent discount on its carrier fares.

According to the details, the airline is promoting a 15 % discount super sale to anywhere in Canada from Pakistan.

As per PIA Spokesperson tickets can be booked till November 15 and passengers traveling till December 15 can avail of the benefits.

Earlier on September 4, PIA had reduced fares for the domestic flights between Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad. The fare for the one-way ticket along with 20kg cargo weight was fixed Rs7,400. On the other hand, Rs13,500 was fixed for a round trip.

In the same way, the national flag carrier reduced fares on account of Eid-al-Adha in July. According to the Spokesperson of PIA, the one-way fare from Karachi to Islamabad was fixed to Rs. 9572.

Future of PIA

On Tuesday while talking about the future prospects of the airline in the federal cabinet meeting, the CEO of PIA said that tough decisions are mandatory and should be made for better results.

10 of the PIA planes are due for the end of their lease, Arshad Malik told the federal cabinet and said that the airline needs about $250 to -300 million to end the crisis.

He claimed that new airplanes are the need for a better future of PIA.
