On Sunday, Air Commodore Jawad Zafar has been appointed as the new Chief Operating Officer of the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA).

According to the PIA spokesperson, Ijaz Mazhar’s resignation leaves Chief Operating Officer vacant and Jawad Zafar was suitable for the progress of PIA.

On the other hand, Air Marshal Amir Hayat has been appointed as the CEO PIA Advisor, told the PIA spokesperson

The PIA spokesperson added that, after completion of the deputation of Air Force Marshal Noor Abbas, Air Vice Marshal Amir Hayat has been appointed as Advisor to CEO PIA.
