Punjab Assembly speaker issues production order for Hamza Shehbaz

Punjab Assembly Speaker Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi issued on Friday, production orders for the Opposition Leader Hamza Shehbaz Sharif to attend the session.

According to the details, the speaker issued production orders for Hamza to allow him to attend the provincial assembly session which is scheduled to meet today at 3 pm.

The session requested by the opposition parties will discuss matters related to inflation and law and order situation.

It is pertinent to mention here that Hamza Shehbaz is on judicial remand over charges of assets beyond means and money laundering.

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) said Hamza Shehbaz is accused of accumulating assets through unfair means and was involved in money laundering through his servants.

Shehbaz and Hamza have been accused of fraudulently causing a Rs 213 million loss to the national exchequer.
