The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Tuesday warned to dismiss all employees of NEPRA and Power Division if the matter of load shedding not resolved in Sindh.

According to the details, while hearing the case against unannounced load shedding in Sindh, Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Gulzar Ahmed remarked that there is no need for such employees in power division who cannot resolve public issues.

While heading the three-judge bench, CJP remarked that the matter of load shedding in Karachi is still unresolved, neither the federal government nor the provincial government is doing anything, the federation is not fulfilling its responsibility, the government has hijacked people, The whole nation is going through electricity crisis.

The CJP remarked that “There is no proper solution for power generation in Karachi, despite the fact that the city is the country’s economic hub. There is a serious lack of capacity in government.”

After hearing the arguments the Supreme court has ordered NEPRA to submit a detailed report within four weeks.
