Sindh government has decided to lift the ban on pillion riding within 24 hours.

According to the details, the Sindh Government had put a ban on pillion riding amid response to growing criminal offenses in Karachi.

A notification had also been issued in this regard, according to which the ban was imposed for one month.

The ban was imposed after prominent religious scholar Maulana Adil Khan was assassinated in Karachi on Saturday.

The prominent scholar, along with his driver, was shot dead in Karachi’s Shah Faisal area.

Maulana Adil’s funeral prayers were offered at Jamia Farooqia Hub River Road Phase II. Besides scholars and other religious figures, a large number of attendees included students and devotees of the late scholar attended the funeral prayers.
