Indian Sikh pilgrims arrive at Gurdwara to attend Baba Guru Nanak’s 551st birth anniversary celebrations.

According to details, 602 Indian Sikh pilgrims reached Gurdwara Janam Asthan to attend the celebrations of Baba Guru Nanak’s 551st birth anniversary. The Sikh pilgrims reached Nankana Sahib under the leadership of Jatha leader Sardar Ramjit Singh.

Deputy Commissioner Raja Mansoor Ahmed welcomed the Indian Sikh pilgrims. The Indian Sikh pilgrims said that they are grateful to the government of Pakistan for excellent travel facilities. The three-day celebrations will start from tomorrow at Gurdwara Janam Asthan.

Sikh pilgrims will perform religious rites in 6 gurdwaras in 5 days, November 30 will be the main event of Baba Guru Nanak’s 551st birthday, Sikh pilgrims will return to India from Wagah border on December 1.

Health department counters have been set up at the entrance of Gurdwara Janam Asthan, temperature checks have been done with thermal guns and corona tests have been arranged.

Pilgrims are being provided with hand sanitizers and face masks free of cost, while children are also being vaccinated at a counter.

Sikh pilgrims are also ensuring implementation of Coronavirus SOPs.
