Iranian Foreign Minister Muhammad Javad Zarif will arrive in Pakistan tomorrow on a two-day official visit.

According to the details, leading a high-powered political and economic delegation Javad Zarif will be meeting:

Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Chief of Army Staff COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa, and Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser.

The Iranian Foreign Minister will discuss bilateral relations, peace in Afghanistan, the Afghan peace process, Pak-Iran economic relations, Pak-Iran border management issues and other matters with Pakistan’s civil and military leadership.

Earlier, Zarif paid tribute to Pakistan’s national poet Dr Allama Muhammad Iqbal on his 143rd birth anniversary.

“Allama Iqbal Fakhr has the status of a scholar of Islam and an international poet and thinker and the concerns he had for the unity of Muslims is a concern for the world of Islam today,” Zarif tweeted.
