NCOC finalizes recommendations for procurement of COVID-19 vaccine says Asad Umar

Federal Minister for Planning, Development, Reforms and Special Initiatives Asad Umar has said that National Command Operation Center (NCOC) has finalized its recommendations for procurement of the coronavirus vaccine.

According to the details, Asad Umar informed us that the recommendations will be presented to the cabinet tomorrow for approval.

He took to his Twitter and wrote:

NCOC today finalized its recommendations for procurement of covid vaccine. These will be presented to the cabinet tomorrow for approval. The task force of experts headed by SAPM health Dr. Faisal Sultan had developed the recommendations which were discussed and finalized today.

According to the Government’s portal, Pakistan’s infection rate for daily COVID-19 caseload has risen above 8%.

In addition to this, 40 more people succumbed to the disease, taking the death toll to 8,025. As many as 1,613 patients have recovered from the virus during the last 24 hours and 2,046 patients are in critical condition. A total of 33,302 tests were conducted across the country during this period. 341,423 people have recovered from the deadly disease while 5,508,810 samples have been tested so far.
