Aseefa Bhutto Zardari, youngest daughter of former president Asif Ali Zardari and premier Benazir Bhutto is all set to make her political debut in Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) Multan rally.

The Youngest Bhutto, Aseefa, who is an ambassador for polio vaccination awareness, has never taken part in a large-scale political gathering.

Aseefa Bhutto will be addressing the crowd in her Brother Bilawal Bhutto’s absence, who is quarantining after testing positive for COVID-19 last week.

She reached Multan today via a chartered flight to attend the rally. She was received by former prime minister Yousuf Raza Gillani and other party leaders upon arrival at the Multan airport.

The Multan rally, in eastern Punjab province, is the PDM’s fourth large scale gathering amid sharp government criticism in the wake of rising coronavirus cases in the country.

On the other hand, PDM Chief Maulana Fazl ur Rahman and PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz are also in Multan to stage political power show against the government of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf.

Soon after Maryam Nawaz left for Multan, she said in her tweet:

“People of the land of saints, your daughters [Maryam and Aseefa] are coming to you.”

The PDM is an 11-party alliance of Pakistan’s main opposition parties who are campaigning nationwide at rallies attended by tens of thousands, to oust the government of Prime Minister Imran Khan and calling for early elections.
