PDM Jalsa: Maryam, Fazl, Aseefa in Multan to aim guns at PTI

Key Politicians of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) including Chief Maulana Fazl ur Rahman, PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz, and Aseefa Bhutto Zardari have reached Multan for political power show against the PTI government.

According to the details, PDM will be holding an anti-government rally against PTI at the Qila Kohna Qasim Bagh Stadium.

Soon after Maryam Nawaz left for Multan, she said in her tweet:

“People of the land of saints, your daughters [Maryam and Aseefa] are coming to you.”

Whereas Aseefa Bhutto Zardari, daughter of PPP co-chairperson and former president Asif Ali Zardari, reached Multan via chartered flight to attend the rally. She was received by former prime minister Yousuf Raza Gillani and other party leaders upon arrival at the Multan airport. She will be representing PPP Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari at today’s rally of opposition parties.

The 27-year-old Bhutto will be making her political debut at the rally by addressing the public meeting in the absence of her brother who was tested positive for the novel coronavirus and currently in isolation.

Speaking to media earlier, The Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) chief and Jameeat e Ulema Islam (F) Supremo, Maulana Fazlur Rahman said “PDM will hold the rally tomorrow at the same venue at all cost and all the leaders would reach the venue despite government threats of legal action.”

“This is state terrorism,” Fazl said that the Opposition alliance has formulated the strategy to counter government action.
