PDM Jalsa Multan: Asif Zardari will address via video link, Gillani

Pakistan People’s Party leader and former Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gillani assured that the procession of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) will be held in Multan in any case.

As per the details, he said while talking to reporters at Gilani House that PDM jalsa on the occasion of Foundation Day will be held at any case.

He informed the media that PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari cannot participate because of Coronavirus. However, he said that former President Asif Zardari will address people via the video link.

Apart from that, Gillani said that Asifa Bhutto will address a PDM jalsa. She will arrive in Multan on November 30 and can give a surprise, he added.

On the other hand, Gillani also made critical statements. He questioned why the meetings are being stopped now. He also asked why Multan has been made a no-go area. He said that the government is worsening the situation by stopping the meeting. We have no other or third option for the meeting except Qila Kahna Qasim Bagh Stadium, he added.

Apart from that, the former premier informed the media that Prime Minister Imran Khan has fulfilled the promise of providing the container. Gillani said, referring to PM Khan that he told the floor of the house that he would give the container. Imran Khan also promised food for the protesters.
