Prime Minister Imran Khan and Afghan President Ashraf Ghani had a one-on-one meeting.

According to details, a reception was held at the Afghan Presidential Palace on the arrival of Prime Minister Imran Khan. Upon arrival at the Presidential Palace, Afghan President Ashraf Ghani received Prime Minister Imran Khan.

According to sources, the one-on-one meeting between Prime Minister Imran Khan and the Afghan President discussed issues of mutual interest, including bilateral relations and the Afghan peace process.

A guard of honour was presented to Prime Minister Imran Khan at the Afghan Presidential Palace, and the national anthems of the two countries were played during the reception.

Pak-Afghan trade and other issues of mutual interest were also discussed during the meeting.

It should be noted that Prime Minister Imran Khan has recently arrived in Kabul on his first visit to Afghanistan at the invitation of the Afghan President.

The Prime Minister is accompanied by Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Trade Adviser Abdul Razzaq Dawood, Director General of Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Faiz Hameed and Special Representative for Afghanistan Muhammad Sadiq.

Strict security arrangements have been made in Kabul on the occasion of the Prime Minister’s visit.
