Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday has expressed sorrow over the death of Chief Justice Peshawar High Court Waqar Ahmed Seth.

He took tom Twitter and wrote, “Saddened to learn of the passing of Chief Justice Peshawar High Court Waqar Ahmed Seth. May his soul rest in peace – Ameen. My condolences & prayers go to his family.”

Chief Justice Peshawar High Court Justice Waqar Ahmed Passed Away.

The Chief Justice was unwell for a few days reports are coming that he is suffering from Covid-19 symptoms therefore he is shifted to hospital.

Chief Justice Kulsoom was undergoing treatment at international hospital Islamabad.

Waqar Ahmed Seth (born 16 March 1961) is a Pakistani jurist who has been the Chief Justice of Peshawar High Court since 28 June 2018. He presided the special court which heard the high treason case against Pervez Musharraf and one of the two judges on a three-judge panel who convicted Musharraf for this crime and sentenced him to death. This was the first time in Pakistan’s history that a military dictator was convicted for high treason.
