PM To Set Up 'National Youth Council' Under His Leadership

Prime Minister Imran Khan decided to set up a ‘National Youth Council’ headed by him.

According to the state-run news agency APP, Federal Minister for Planning and Special Measures Asad Umar said in a message that he wanted to give good news to the youth, the government has decided to set up a National Youth Council.

He said that the Youth Council would be headed by Prime Minister Imran Khan himself while 50 youths from across the country would be selected to join the council.

He said that the youth, together with the Prime Minister, would formulate the policies they needed.

Asad Umar said that the youth have played an important role in the struggle for Pakistan and Imran Khan. The selection process for the Youth Council is being done on a very transparent and merit basis.

He said that the youth should apply from the website of the successful youth out of which 50 best and capable youth will be selected for the membership of the council.
