Police in Lahore foiled a terrorist attack at CTD Police Station located at Burki road.

According to the media reports, the terrorist tried to storm in the police stations after opening fire. However, in their quick response, the police officials deployed retaliated and killed the terrorist. The official said that two hand grenades, a pistol, and a suicide jacket were found from the terrorist’s body.

Earlier on November 18, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Police thwarted a terror attack near the district commissioner’s office in Charsadda. The unidentified gunmen opened fire on an intelligence agency office injuring an official who later succumbed to his injuries.

Police responded to the gunfire killing one of the attackers while he was trying to enter a building. District police also recovered weapons from the terrorist. DPO Charsadda Muhammad Shoaib Khan later revealed that the security official was injured during the attack and succumbed to his injuries later.

DPO further stated that the security forces were priory alerted of a potential attack in the district. Police cordoned off the area and launched a search operation.
