Captain Safdar recovers from coronavirus

Captain (retd) Safdar, son-in-law of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, has tested negative for coronavirus.

A spokesman for the PML-N Youth Wing said that doctors had instructed Captain Safdar to rest for three weeks due to heart condition and weakness.

The Youth Wing spokesman said that Captain Safdar Sharif was undergoing treatment in the intensive care unit of Medical City Lahore.

Earlier in November, Captain Safdar Awan had contracted the novel Coronavirus.

PML-N Youth Wing spokesman Ali Yousafzai had said that party leader Captain Safdar again tested positive for the virus.

He is under treatment at ICU of Sharif Medical Complex, Raiwind. Doctors advised him complete bed rest, said Yousufzai.

The PML-N leader had tested positive for Coronavirus on November 9. Later, he admitted to the Sharif Medical Complex for his treatment.
