CNS, Sri Lankan High Commissioner discuss maritime affairs

Chief of the Naval Staff  (CNS) Admiral Amjad Khan Niazi held a meeting with Sri Lankan High Commissioner to Pakistan Vice Admiral (Retd) Mohan Vijay Vikrama at the Naval Headquarters.

According to the Spokesperson of the Pakistan Navy, both discussed maritime affairs and ways to enhance cooperation between the naval forces of Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

CNS also discussed the maritime security of the region with the distinguished guest.

It may be recalled that Brunei High Commissioner to Pakistan, His Excellency Brigadier General (Retd) Dato Paduka Haji Mahmud bin Haji Saidin met with Pakistan Navy Chief Admiral Amjad Khan Niazi in Naval Headquarters, and the two while discussing professional matters, agreed to further strengthen relations between the two brotherly countries, especially their naval forces.

The Naval Chief and the distinguished guest also discussed the security situation in the region and the promotion of bilateral maritime cooperation.

Pakistan Navy Chief Admiral Amjad Khan Niazi, in the previous week; held meetings with ambassadors of Japan and Egypt; H.E. Mr. Kuninori Matsuda and H.E. Mr. Tarek Mohamed Dahroug at the Naval Headquarters in Islamabad.
