Country on verge of economic destruction under PTI says Ishaq Dar

Former Finance Minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Ishaq Dar has said that Prime Minister Imran Khan, in his two years of leadership, brought the country on the verge of destruction.

He made these comments during an interview to BBC’s program Hard Talk.

Ishaq Dar said, “It is a matter of non-performance, it is a matter of incompetence, it is a matter of ruining & grounding the economy of Pakistan in two years.”

When asked about his properties, Ishaq Dar said that he doesn’t own any property in London or anywhere else as claimed by the reports. Ishaq Dar said that he and his wife own only a single property that’s located in Pakistan.

Ishaq Dar, who is in a self-imposed exile since 2017, after corruption cases were filed against him, and has been declared a proclaimed offender by the courts. He is facing charges of accumulating assets beyond known sources of income.
