Prominent religious scholar and leader of Tableeghi Jammat Maulana Tariq Jamil has recovered from the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

According to the details, while taking to his Twitter handle, Maulana Tariq Jamil made the announcement.

The religious scholar said that he has tested negative for the virus.

Maulana Tariq Jamil requested followers to remember him in their prayers. “May Allah let humanity get rid of this pandemic with His blessings.” He prayed.

Earlier Prime Minister Imran Khan has wished eminent religious scholar Maulana Tariq Jameel a speedy recovery from the novel coronavirus.

PM Imran took to his Twitter and wrote:

“Praying for Maulana Tariq Jamil’s speedy and full recovery from Covid 19.”

Tariq Jamil was born on 1 October 1953 in Mian Channu, Pakistan. He completed primary education at Central Model School, Lahore. Jamil is an alumnus of Government College University.

He received his Islamic education from Jamia Arabia, Raiwind, where he studied Qur’an, Hadith, Sufism, logic, and Islamic jurisprudence.
