Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood has made a big announcement regarding education policy for Pakistan.

Taking to Twitter, he said that the education ministry has begun the process to form a formal education policy for the country.

In his tweet, he emphasized the necessity of the formal policy. He has also allowed others to give suggestions.

While we have taken a number of initiatives including single national curriculum, A formal Education policy for the country is necessary. So on my direction a process has been started by the Ministry of Education which includes widespread consultation. All suggestions welcome

• make biochemistry a minor subject in MBBS. And biochemistry failures should be avoided. Asking remote questions in tests should be discouraged.
• doing practicals criteria should be made better in medical colleges.
