ISLAMABAD: The steps taken by Prime Minister Imran Khan for the betterment of government institutions are beginning to bear fruit, important institutions, Pakistan Post has also started moving towards innovation.

According to details, Pakistan Post has launched digital franchise post offices through a public-private partnership. Pakistan Post has opened 120 more digital franchise post offices and will open 1,000 digital franchise post offices across the country by the end of this month. Pakistan Post has received applications from a total of 20,000 franchise post offices.

According to the Ministry of Communications, the project will increase the number of Pakistan Post franchises across the country and provide quality and affordable services to the people in the nearest areas. The digital franchise will also provide financial services along with postal services.

According to the Ministry of Communications, the post offices will also use modern technology. With the help of modern technology, parcel tracking and pick-up service will also be available. The new project will directly employ 2.5 lakh people in three years. The project will make the loss-making company profitable forever.
