Pakistan, Saudi Arabia exchange views on deep-rooted fraternal ties

Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan and Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Maliki exchanged views on bilateral relations, regional situation, and issues of common interest.

Prime Minister Imran Khan underlined that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia had historic and deep-rooted fraternal ties, which stood the test of time.

Both also discussed bilateral cooperation and the ways to tackle the COVID-19 situation collectively.

The resolve to further strengthen the strong, longstanding Pakistan-Saudi Arabia fraternal ties was reaffirmed.

The two agreed to enhance bilateral ties and continue close collaboration on all issues of mutual interest.

Earlier in meetings with the interior minister and Army chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa, the Saudi Envoy discussed regional security and bilateral issues.

On December 15th, Nawaf Saeed Al Malki, called on General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chief of Army Staff (COAS), today.

ISPR said that during the meeting matters of mutual interest, regional security situation and bilateral defence relations between the two brotherly countries were discussed.

The Ambassador reaffirmed KSA’s full support to Pakistan’s position on all matters, especially on regional issues, the military media wing stated.

Whereas on December 12th, Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Maliki while talking to Punjab Governor Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar said that his country has never left Pakistan alone and it would continue to support it in future as well.

Highlighting the warm and close bilateral relations between the two countries, the Punjab Governor said Pakistan stands by Saudi Arabia and is committed to safeguarding its territorial integrity.
