Parliamentarians from opposition will not resign, predicts Rashid

Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed on Monday said that Prime Minister Imran Khan will not give NRO in any case to looters of national treasury.

According to the details, addressing a news conference in Islamabad, he said the opposition will not resign and would participate in the upcoming senate elections.

Sheikh Rashid said that CM Sindh Murad Ali Shah raised the slogan of ‘Prime Minister Bilawal’ yesterday.

‘Play with Under 19 and have mercy on nation,’ Sheikh Rasheed suggested.

“The issue of resignations has gone from December 31 to January 31 (2021),” He mentioned. “Prime Minister Imran Khan won’t resign on March 31 let alone on January 31 from such PDM (Pakistan Democratic Movement) tactics.”

In addition to this, Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed announced to establish night food bazars in Islamabad.

He said “Patwar Khanas” will be abolished from Islamabad territory within a month. He said process of vehicles registration will also be made smooth and easy for the users.

Talking about improving policing in the capital, he said new Eagle Squad will be introduced to curb crime in the city.

The Interior Minister announced housing scheme for journalists working in print and electronic media.

On Sunday, while hosting the 11-party opposition alliance in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh, the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari asked his party workers and supporters to get ready to march on Islamabad should PM Imran failed to resign and go home before January 31.
