PDM Lahore Jalsa: Political activities are in full swing as Pakistan Democratic Movement is organizing a much-heated mass gathering today in Lahore.

PDM is holding a mass Jalsa at Minar-e-Pakistan on Sunday (today). Opposition parties have set the stage and have gathered to address the nation about their agenda.  Over 7,000 chairs have been placed, a large group of audience is expected despite a surge in coronavirus cases throughout the country.

A stage is set up on the steps of Minar-e-Pakistan while chairs are being set up on the ground at the forefront. Generators have been hooked up and light installed for the rally beside the all-important sound system.

Pakistan Muslim League leader Maryam Nawaz has reached the venue whereas Pakistan People’s Party chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam leader Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman will join her.

It is pertinent to mention that former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and former president Asif Ali Zardari are expected to address the nation via virtual talks.
