Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) Lahore Jalsa kicked off here on Sunday (today) at Minar-e-Pakistan, termed as a “historic and decisive” power show.

According to police sources, around 8,500 people participated in the PDM Lahore Jalsa, while according to the special branch around 10,000 people attended the public gathering at Minar-e-Pakistan.

PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif also addressed the crowd via video link and asked who was answerable for the government’s failings.

“He says I won’t give an NRO. Who is asking you for an NRO? You and Aleema Khan got an NRO from Saqib Nisar yourself,” said Nawaz.

“They say, don’t take names? Tell me, what should we do? Is Imran Khan alone responsible for the predicament the country is in?”

Speaking about the public crisis, the Vice President backlashes PTI government for their fake promises regarding declined inflation. She said, “They used to say that the rulers are corrupt and the people pay the price through inflation, but today, even the government employees are protesting against PTI.”

The leader also termed the Prime Minister as COVID-18 and said that Pakistan’s government had gone under quarantine since he came to rule the country.

“Electricity, gas and flour were quarantined after the arrival of COVID-18 [Imran Khan],” said Maryam.
