In seven areas in Peshawar, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has agreed to enforce a smart lockdown over the growing number of coronavirus cases in the province.

From today (17 December) the lockdown will begin at 6 pm.

The ‘monitored entry and exit’ will be in the given areas.

  1. Street No 6-12, Sector F-8, Hayatabad.

  4. Kand Raza Khan Road.
  5. Malik Shafeeq Colony, Peshawar Cantt.
  6. Gulshan Rehman Colony, Mattani.
  7. Larama Road.
  8. Hazar Khwani, Sheikhan Road.

According to the notification of the Deputy Commissioner, no person will be permitted to leave or enter “other than those delivering basic necessities.
