Provincial Task Force meeting to discuss COVID-19 situation held at Corps HQ

An important meeting of Provincial Task Force was held at Corps Headquarters (HQ) Peshawar to discuss the ongoing Coronavirus situation across the country.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Mahmood khan, Commander Peshawar Corps Lieutenant General Nauman Mahmood and other senior civil and military officials attended the meeting.

The meeting reviewed the current COVID-19 situation in KP province and strict actions being taken over the implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), said ISPR.

The meeting was briefed about the current capacity in hospitals for virus affected patients and further measures were taken to enhance the facility.

ISPR further added that implementation of Non-pharmaceutical interventions (NPI) in light of directions given by NCOC, were also discussed in detail.

Moreover, CM Mahmood Khan expressed his satisfaction on the progress made so far to prevent spread of the deadly virus across the province.
