4.6 Richter Scale Earthquake Jolts Lahore, Surrounding Areas

LAHORE: Severe Earthquake jolts of 4.6 Richter scale were felt in Lahore and its surrounding areas.

According to the Pakistan Meteorological department, strong tremors have been felt in various cities of Punjab.

Met Office office stated that the tremors were felt at 6:59 pm and 7:02 pm.

The first quake had a magnitude of 4.6 on the Richter scale and a depth of 60 km, while the second quake had a magnitude of 5.1 and a depth of 65 km.

The epicentre was reported near Kishtwar in Occupied Kashmir, the Met Office said.
